A kid-powered site for nature adventures and activities!
The kids behind this site are Cori (age 8) and Annika (age 6).
We hope other kids and families can find some cool activities here.
This is all stuff we did and learned ourselves. And we drew all the pictures!
What's new at KSN:
February 2008: Cori created a few pages on the North American Alpine Tundra for a school project. Our first Colorado page!
June 2005: We moved to Colorado! All the new stuff we add to this site will be oriented to the West. We'll try to keep the original information (tadpoles, butterflies, fossils, and sea turtles) and links up to date. Keep exploring!
June 2004: The 17-year cicadas have arrived! We found over 5000 exoskeletons (shells) in
our backyard! Check out our pictures.
March 2004: We went on the Mole Salamander Van Tour with naturalist Glenn Cumings
from the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). We found lots and learned
lots! Check it out!
